Do you expect a harvest?

Are you ready to receive the harvest you planted? Be ready. God's time will show up, sometimes when you least expect it!
Are you ready to receive the harvest you planted? Be ready.  God’s time will show up, sometimes     when you least expect it!

Harvest.

Do you expect to give into your life and surroundings, (kids, spouse, job, volunteer efforts, household chores, gardening, gift giving etc etc etc), and get something in return?  That seems selfish, doesn’t it? But according to what the basics of life show us, what the Bible teaches us, we will get a return on  our actions. All of  them!

What you put into life- will come around to you. (Puts it into perspective, doesn’t it – to do GOOD, not evil!)

It’s like putting gas into your car – you are raring to go with a  full tank and have the assurance that you will be able to drive “X” amount of miles until you get close to empty again. You sowed gas into your car, and you EXPECTED to get mileage out of that fuel. You are rarely disappointed.

Cause and affect. Plant (fill ‘er up), and reap – full tank. Same goes for praying, and doing  and anything  and everything in your life.

If you keep working hard, unto the Lord, you WILL get promotion, raises, bonuses. Maybe not next paycheck, but it WILL come  to you. Do NOT get discouraged! Are you working hard on relationships with family, friends, co workers? Keep going! It will improve. Maybe not Monday morning, but possibly … dare I say…. NEXT YEAR??? Don’t be curt, nor loose patience. It is coming.

Will you offer kindness, patience, caring, grace, love – you may not see immediate return, but it will for certain come to you, somewhere in the future. Do not give up! Keep doing good. Keep working hard. Be diligent!

Wait, patiently, trusting GOD to make the perfect timing happen. Never give up. Always expect – not in a selfish way, but in a postive way.

God planned the circle of life, for us to plow into what we do. Whether we put half effort into it, or overflowed energy, we WILL receive into our life what we put out. Laziness breeds laziness. Hard work and honest effort brings reward.

So keep preparing, seek His wisdom so to know what to do, and when to do it. Keep planting. Be intentional in all you do. Expect a harvest.  And be sure to plant prayers. That IS the most important thing to do.

Be brave. Be courageous.

May this new year be a blessing to you as you learn to be diligent, and trust you will  have a grand return on  all you do!

Romans 8: 32 ESV

He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?

Isaiah 28:24 Does he who plows for sowing plow continually?
Does he continually open and harrow his ground?

Ecclesiastes 3 :1 For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:

a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;

1 Corinthians 3:5b  Servants through whom you BELIEVED, as the Lord assigned to each. I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth.

Philippians 4:15 And you Philippians yourselves know that in the beginning of the gospel, when I left Macedonia, no church entered into partnership with me in giving and receiving, except you only. 16 Even in Thessalonica you sent me help for my needs once and again. 17 Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that increases to your credit.[a] (emphasis mine)

Time for Prayer:  Father thank you for your teaching. Thank you for your guidance and wisdom that you will place into all who  accept your direction. Thank you in advance for all the tender gifts you give. Thank you for the prayers I prayed many years ago, long forgotten, and know you have and still are answering many of  those requests! You are the best Father. I  praise you for a new year and freshness to continue throughout this new year!
