More than a conqueror
Never give up. Hold onto Jesus

How many times have you heard the scripture reference, found in Romans 8:31-39  that tells us we ARE more than conquerors – IF WE ONLY BELIEVE!!!!

How shall we respond, is how the chapter begins.

How
Shall
We
Respond??

Do you ask God sometimes: “REALLY God, am I ? Life is nothing but a struggle. Struggle seems to be opposite of conquering something – anything! And you want me to say that I am MORE than a conqueror? Come on God…. let’s get real.”

How now shall we live? (grabbing that phrase from a titled book from Chuck Colson, it’s a big read, but got some meaty stuff in it).

God is truly merciful, even when I am not. Trouble is before me night and day. People can be like sandpaper burning the heart raw. Persecution from haters (which seem to be more abounding these days). Life in general can be rough. Exhausting. the desire to quit and just give up and veg on the couch sometimes seems so tempting.

I have walked a long dry valley the past many years – sometimes even crawling through the rough terrain. So many situations of  loss, death and lack kept climbing over me like bugs in a trash can. Ick and gross, right? It wouldn’t go away. Discouragement hit me more often than I wanted. Like a bad boxing match.

Yet, I know I have to listen and heed God’s still small voice and not harden my heart when those times come upon me.  Oh, how my flesh wants to harden itself; it’s a protection of sorts. We all have within us a barrier that we put around us, especially once we’ve been ‘burnt’ to many times by things that happen to us, even sometimes things that we do by choice.

We must be cautious not to let the flesh take over our thoughts. What a fine line  that can be. We have to rely on the Word and promises of God. It is sharper than a two edged sword.

Taking the mind and the swaying thoughts of negativity and strife, the struggle and PROCLAIM God’s promises.

Always. Do. This.

It is amazing that when we speak the Bible out-loud, the enemy has to flee! Do this for a few minutes, paying attention to the relaxing sense of peace that enters the atmosphere! God is mighty. God is true. Our flesh fails us. Our mind wanders to distant damaging places. Run to the Father…. that’s what I am gonna do right now.

Don’t let the enemy take over your life. The devil must flee at they sound of Jesus name. End of that story! Rejoice, praise and sing hallelujah!

Father, God I love you. I know you are faithful. When these taxing, trying negative things in life come to try to override me, I seek you. I run to you. Hold me with your strong right arm. I speak your promises into my life and my family. I love you Jesus. I praise you. Peace I seek for my life. I surrender all. I desire your will. My flesh bow down to what you want me to do. Amen.

Because of Jesus’ perfect work on the CROSS, I am righteous by His blood.

I am greatly blessed.

I am complete.

I am healed.

I am highly favored, coming in and going out.

I can expect with confidence to have good success, because I am blessed coming in and going out.

I am confident in HIM, not in my own strength.

When I am weak, He is strong.

I stand on favored ground.

I am is favorite child!

Jesus, I Love you, FOREVER and ever! Amen.

It is time to rise up into NEW life.

Struggles are real. Troubles will come and go. But standing firm in the foundation of GOD’s love, grace and heart will guide you to GO IN and possess what he has planned for YOU to do. To possess means to TAKE ACTION. Do it. Do it afraid, do it when you feel confident. Just take that step.

Fear  will stop progression. That is the ultimate plan of the enemy of our soul. He does NOT want us to succeed. He wants to hinder our walk and our path. He attacks with schemes so sly – and sometimes so obvious. Take heed. Be aware. Even if we trip, fail or totally mess up today – tomorrow is a new and fresh day. God’s got our back. Never look down, keep your shoulders back, and be secure in who you are in Christ, and that those around you will see His goodness that lives in you, no matter the circumstances!

God has ADOPTED YOU into HIS family. You are anointed, blessed and highly favored. You are blessed coming in and going out. God created adoption papers! he will never leave you nor forsake you. No.matter.what.you.have.done! You belong to God! Jesus is and was the sacrifice for your life. Trust Him. He loves you with an everlasting love! Your name is written in His Word. He has set you free, so you can soar to new heights!
No living in slavery, we don’t have to finance our adoption. We don’t have to complete a “to do list” to conquer or pay for His love for us. Just accept His offer of salvation through Jesus Christ.
He gives the invitation to come and thirst no more!

Keep in prayer – God search me, and know my heart, let me not become self absorbed – but focused on the plan where you can USE me to make a difference on this earth.

Live a life from orphan to an HEIR!  You have JOY, PEACE, FREEDOM, LIFE! so REJOICE in the LORD always – and again I say REJOICE

His river will flow through you as you keep drinking His cup!  Rejoice, and always give thanks, for He is certainly good!

Proverbs : 3:4-6 Trust in the Lord
…So you will find favor and good repute In the sight of God and man. Trust in the LORD with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.…

Psalm 94:19 niv
Psalm 94:19 niv

Effort : the result of an attempt
If you want principle to take seed into your life,                                                                be certain to plant seed where you want.
If you desire to be respected, honored, with humility and grace, you must also be humble. You reap what you sow.
So, if you demand, throw fits, cuss, swear, or things of that nature, don’t expect others to treat you with dignity.
Place into your mind, thoughts of love, grace, others before yourself,                honor, care, and use these wonderful nouns as you would sow into a  garden.

          Cultivate positivity  into your everyday life or the opposite will run wild like weeds in and around your life.
Let your mind think of goodness and care. When someone you       encounter is  difficult, ask yourself why or what could be the matter in their                         life that they are   acting out the way they are. Something is usually amiss.                                                    Take time to nurture and grow trust and allow your caring ways to help them to become calm
Become a helper, not be part of the problem.
Let go of impure thoughts and frustrations.                                                                   Grace and mercy  overcome all things bad.

God gives us instruction to not let anxiety or worry or frustration rule our minds, nor to be discouraged.

Focus your mind,with God’s amazing help, in prayer, and surrender, take captive your thoughts so you can overcome the devil’s ploy to keep you living frustrated or in anger. But live in peace and love !!!

2 Corinthians 10: 3-6
We are human, but we don’t wage war as humans do. We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ. And after you have become fully obedient, we will punish everyone who remains disobedient.

Philippians 4:4-8
Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice!
Let everyone see that you are considerate in all you do. Remember, the Lord is coming soon.

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.

Psalm 94:19

When anxiety was great within me,
your consolation brought me joy.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Prayer:
Father thank you so much for your love and patience with me, I ask for a double portion of grace and patience when I feel frustrated. I welcome the Holy Spirit every day, and ask that You help me with living out YOUR WORD GOD. I need you every hour of every day. Your grace is always enough, and I praise you all day long for what you give me! ~ Amen!
In the brokenness, loss, confusion, worn out spirit within me, I know with the confirming Word from the Lord a few weeks ago, spoke to me that the enemy wants to  kill, steal and destroy my life, my dreams,  & wreak havoc in my relationships.
But with the Spirit of the Lord, there is freedom to #moveforward.
Going to Trust Him more ~
        ~ even with faith the size of a mustard seed
 I am the head and not the tail, I am above and not beneath.
No harm can come against me,
because I am the light in a dark world, bringing the Truth of Jesus to those I meet. I can move mountains, the dreams that He planted within me will come to fruition, not by my might but by His purpose that lay within me.
 I will not die, I will live.
No doubt, no fear will rest within me, because Jesus came to give life in abundance.
Therefore, I will speak faith, life, wisdom, love, peace, joy  no matter where I go.
In brokenness, despair, is where  I  learn the most,  I will grow deeper in the Word. And ultimately can be used even the more to encourage those  I know, as I will be a living  example of God’s faithfulness, so those who know me will  see though  I  may walk through the valley of death, I have no reason to fear…ever!
So, I hope that as you read this, you will never ever give up hope. Even in the worst, most difficult place you may be at….. Because, within each test of life, is an opportunity to take God at his Word, in His promises, he WILL bring HIS desire and plan to completion.
 He never leaves us nor forsakes us.
He is faithful, his love endures for a lifetime.
Press in – take him at his word. He loves you and I with such deep love, he gave his only Son to die for our salvation and to have us live eternally in Heaven, and live this life to fulfill a destiny that is unique and designed by God, so no enemy can ever take that hope or plan from us! Be encouraged today!!!!!!!!!   ♥♥
Receive is grace and mercy today – you will never regret it!
Let’s pray:  Lord thank you for your mercy and love each day. It is new and refreshing and lasts a lifetime. Thank you for hardships and challenges in this life, for they help me with becoming stronger in you and guides me/ us to live in the fruits of the spirit, which comes from you. You are so full of love for me, that you never let go. Be with each person who reads this, that they be encouraged to lean into you more and more – trusting you to guide our lives as we pray for wisdom. Love you so much Jesus! ♥
2 Corinthians 3: 16-18 but whenever a person turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.
John 3: 16-  20  “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not  perish but have eternal life.  ForGod did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.   Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.  And this is the judgment:  the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.”
Psalm 129:2
“they have greatly oppressed me from my youth, but they have not gained the victory over me.
Deuteronomy 31:8  It is the LORD who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”
2 Corinthians 4:8 NLT
We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair.
Psalm 23   The Lord is my shepherd, I  lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, and he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
Isaiah 40:31
but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Isaiah 61:1
The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners,
Psalm 107:1   Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!
2 Corinthians 6:1-10 NIV   As God’s co-workers we urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain. For he says, “In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.3We put no stumbling block in anyone’s path, so that our ministry will not be discredited.  Rather, as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: in great endurance; in troubles, hardships and distresses; in beatings, imprisonments and riots; in hard work, sleepless nights and hunger; in purity, understanding, patience and kindness; in the Holy Spirit and in sincere love;  in truthful speech and in the power of God; with weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left; through glory and dishonor, bad report and good report; genuine, yet regarded as impostors;  known, yet regarded as unknown; dying, and yet we live on; beaten, and yet not killed; sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; poor, yet making many rich; having nothing, and yet possessing everything.
Hebrew 4:16 ESV   Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
John 10:10 ESV  The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.
